How do you wind down at the end of the day? How do you separate your days from running together into one long week? Taking the time at the end of the day to behold the magnificent sky and the masterpiece created is one way we who live on this island bring our day to a close. With each sunset unique in the way it begins, the colors displayed and the way the night creeps in, catching a sunset view as often as possible has become an ingrained way of life. The sun has been the body’s natural alarm for thousands of years, before the hustle and bustle was a norm and before technology ruled the roost. Sitting back and simply looking up is a way to press pause and soak up all the beauty that this earth brings. Luckily on Crane Island and Amelia Island major, there are quite a few magical places to take in one of the miraculous displays. Crane Island is a more narrow island so whether you are situated on the Marsh or looking out from your porch on the Intracoastal, there are through views so that every sunset can be seen and soaked in.
